New Richmond was pivotal in the Underground Railroad.
Take a walking tour of New Richmond to learn more about the many sites in the village that were a part of Clermont County's Underground Railroad. The two-block tour of sites will start at Cranston Memorial Presbyterian Church, 200 Union St. Greg Roberts, a New Richmond historian, will lead the tour, which will include information about abolitionists who lived in the area as well as New Richmond's role in the Underground Railroad.
